And a special thanks to John Grant at Secret Sound Studio!
The inspiration for my new work, “King”, comes from Psalm 72. I used pictures that show this Psalm becoming an Earthly reality! This passage in the Bible is one of many that explain this future event! The fact that Jesus is coming back to Earth the second time as a triumphant King is all through the Old and New Testament of the Bible! He is going to set up a literal kingdom here on Earth, in a literal country, Israel, and will literally rule mortal people from His throne in Jerusalem, a literal city, having utter control as pictured by the rod of iron (Psalm 2; Revelation 12:5). AND there will be blessings on Earth that can only be imagined..."as long as the moon endures"!
There was a literal coming of Jesus the first time as the Savior and there will be a literal coming of Jesus the second time as “King”.

Master - I was struck by the words written by Mary Ann Baker in 1874;
Peace, also known as Master, the Tempest is Raging. She was an member of the Baptist Denomination in Illinois.

I wanted to compose a melody that would do the words justice. I started writing in 2015 and completed the recording - finalizing the piece in 2021. The main melody and harmony is composed for a men's choir and all parts were performed by
Justin Burley. Justin's range was perfect for this piece and he did a fantastic job! The "bassy" sounds of the Cello, played by Megan Miller, completed the texture I was wanting! Adding a soprano descant to fill out the emotional pleas of the new lyrics that "mirror" the truth of scripture, marvelously floated above giving balance to the deep sounds of the music. This part was sung by Michelle Merryman, a 1st soprano with an ethereal voice.
A wonderful Christmas Carol with words written by Martin Luther and music by Donna Miller Beichler written and recorded December 2016, but made into a video for Christmas 2022.
Soprano - Lindsay Sprinzen
Baritone - Patrick Dickerson.
As Christians we have freedom in Christ. As Americans, we have the privilege living in a country with Christian principles as the foundation. So there is a purpose to pray for our country to maintain its roots. And this song would not BE if it wasn't for
Josh Mitchell at J Mitchell Productions, recording my first song, "Freedom" in 2015! What a learning experience for both of us!!! The beginning! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
